Which Webkinz pet should I buy first?

You should buy the animal that appeals to you most. Besides merely being your stuffed best buddy, your Webkinz pet also opens you up to an entire online community, and the animal you pick is the animal you get to play as. You should definitely start with your favorite animal first.

Its hard to choose just one since the website and stores carry a huge variety of anything from cats to dragons, but there isn't a right or wrong first Webkinz to buy. I would go with whatever you like best. For example I like tigers, so I got the Tiger Webkinz.

There are two; the Webkinz Golden Pegasus is incredibly rare as well as the Webkinz Chihuahua. The Pegasus will run you about $40.00 on the collector's market while the Chihuahua still maintains it's close to retail value on the collector market; however both sell through very fast, the Pegasus being a one per case assortment.

It doesn't really matter, if I were you I would pick the one that you find most appealing. Pick your favorite animal or the one that you think is the cutest or coolest, it's really up to you.
