Tibbits Opera House is among Michigan’s oldest theatres. It operates year round offering professional summer stock, concerts, children’s programming, art exhibits, and local events. USA Today called it one of “10 great places to see the lights way off Broadway.”

The Tibbits Opera House was built in 1882, by Barton S. Tibbits, and is located in StColdwater, MI, with the street address being 14 S Hanchett StColdwater, MI 49036. Mr. Tibbits subsequently died broke, having spent all his money on the building of the opera house.
