The opera house in Verona is called the Arena di Verona. It was built in 30AD for Roman games, and is in better shape than the Colosseum, even. During the Renaissance, the Arena di Verona was finally salvaged and put back into use, this time as a theatre. Still to this day, the acoustics are wonderful!
