Where is the new VW Beetle hood release located?

Open the driver door and look near where your feet are this will be the main release. Now goto the front and reach under for a plastic tab to pull.

It is on the side wall by the brake. When it is pulled another release comes out from under the hood. Pull that one towards you and the hood is released. If not then hopefully you can see the cable and use a pair of piers and pull on it

Hood releases on most cars is on bottom left under the steering wheel. You may have to kneel down and look for it to the left of the brake pedal.

The one inside should be located on the kick panel beside the brake. Pull it toward you the hood should pop up and you can should be able to access the safety latch. Reach under the edge of the hood and pull this release towards you and the hood will open.

Well, the hood release is located next to the seat underneath the trunk key. Go look for it there as well.
