Where is the evaporator tube in a Sequoia?

Just pass automatic transmission dip stick head ,you will see two polished aluminium tubes, towards the right you see a black rubber tube jutting straight out of the wall,thats it.

If you are talking about the AC evaporator, it is most likley located underneith the dash. Or it is possibly inside of a casing on the firewall. You should have to remove several screws around the casing, then you should be able to pull the casing off and get at the evaporator.

The gas evaporator tube runs down from the engine, alongside the driver side to the catalytic converter. This directs it to the heat of the combustion to remove it correctly. If you are going to check the tube out rememberit is rubber and after years of being near that heat source makes it brittle. It will have to be replaced.

The Evaporator core is usually mounted within a case mouted behind the dashboard. Changing this requires removing the dashboard to access the HVAC case.
