The evaporator is going to be located underneath somewhere on the exhaust system. You can get the owners manual at your local parts store and they will show you where it is located and then you can change it. It should only be few bolts holding it on so it should be quite easy.

Are you kidding? The evaporator is part of the air conditioning system, not the exhaust. It is located deeply behind the dash board. It is not a few bolts and it is not easy.  add a comment

The evaporator is going to be located on the exhaust somewhere and it is only a couple bolts and a wire holding it to the vehicle itself. It is easy to take off and put back on once you have located.

This job requires extensive knowledge of the vehicle and tools required. Most shops will charge about $800 to do the work because the entire dash system has to be removed.

the evaperator should be behind the dashboard so you would first need to pull the dash then discharge and disconnect all a/c lines

I use to take the help of my mechanic to replace the evaporator of my venture van because it is not soo easy to replace it by your own self, and it may also cauz any kind of injury as well so it would be better to concern any mechanic in this situation.

The evaporator is located on the passenger side between the dash and the firewall. First evacuate the a/c. Then remove the dash. Replace avaporator on right side of dash.

*If your vehicle only leaks water when the a/c is on,your problem is the evaporator case inside your vehicle. *The condensation from this part drips into a pan, that usually leads it to the outside. Sometime these case parts leak & deposit water on the inside of your vehicle.
