Also on a hot day look on rough/dashed walls as they usually climb on those! Looking in bushes,shrubs especially fields or long grass are also good methods! Have fun collecting caterpillars!

The best place to find a caterpillar is in a heavily leafed bush or shrubs that are mostly consists of leaves that are really green.

Caterpillars are quite common, some of the best places to find them is in bushes, because they eat leaves you can also look in trees. You cannot find caterpillars if its too cold out though but about this time of year they should begin coming out.
