The Tasmanian Wolf has been extinct in Australia nearly 70 years. It was not a wolf or dog; it was a marsupial closely related to the kangaroo and wombat.

Tasmanian wolves no longer exist today. They are extinct. They lived in a dry eucalyptus forest and grasslands of the Australian continent the isle state of Tasmania and parts of New Guinea. They also lived in grasslands. They were carnivores and they got their food anywhere and anyhow they could. This is the information I could dig up on Tasmanian Wolves.
