Answer by  Salinda (48)

The peanut plant is about 18 inches tall and has yellow flowers. After the flowers are pollinated and the petals fall off, the end of the stalk develops into a pointed fruit called a peg. The peg grows downward, begins to develop its shell, and buries itself underground. The peanut develops underground and ripens after three to five months.

when two people love each other very much, they sit around on the couch too much and grow fatter. As their weight gets heavier, when they shift couch positions their butt rubs their pants and makes a fuzz ball. Over time, it turns into a peanut.

Peanuts are actually legumes. Peanuts come from a plant that grows to be about 18 inches tall. As the plant grows the leaflets start going back towards the soil. Once the leaflets have returned to the soil the peanuts start to form underground. Once the peanuts are ready you dig them up from underneath the soil.

Peanuts grow underground similar to a potato. They do not grow on trees, but a plant. Several peanuts are grown on one plant. To harvest peanuts, you just dig them up, then they can be washed and dried. They can then be roasted, salted, or flavored.
