The requirements to do business may vary depending on where you live. Depending on the size of our business you may need a commercial license to operate. If you are running a small family owned business you do not need a business license.

In Georgia to sell peanuts you will need a state business license, issued by your local county clerk's office. In addition your county may require a vendor's permit for roadside concession sales, you can ask the county clerk's about the requirements for your county. Finally you will need a sales tax permit, issued by the tax division.
