Search on Google for "cna training Michigan." There are several portals for allied health fields. The Y has a training program. Some employers offer free training in exchange for a commitment to work for a certain period of time. These opportunities will be listed in the classified ads of the newspaper.

You can go to this 3 week program at Michiana Healthcare Training. They have it there and at some of the community colleges. There is a nursing department at Lansing Community College that does it there and the cost isn't very high for it either. There is another college Washtenaw Community College.

Two places that offer training are your local community college and a local technical college. Oftentimes, a community college will be your best bet. You have to be careful if you choose to go to a technical college as there are a lot of dishonest ones out there. Check the Better Business Bureau rating if you choose a technical college.
