Where can I get training to become a bricklayer?

Most companies that focus on this type of work use union labor for this. There are usually private schooling opportunities amongst the union that offer this type of work. It would be a good idea to find your local union representative in the phone book and meet him or her in person to discuss you options.

You can apply for an apprenticeship through the union and train on the job or Train to become one through Job Corps if you are below the age of 25 and eager to learn and willing to start as an apprentice with more experience. There are also vocational schools which teach construction skills for tuition as well.

I would look around at the community colleges by you to see if there are any classes that teach that. I might also try calling a brick laying company.
