For the best knowledge, you can enroll in barbering/cosmetology courses for hands-on professional training taught by experts.

They have tutorials on braiding hair online like on sites like You Tube and Vimeo. They can show you step by step what the process is. The other way to learn is to just shadow someone who already is skilled at the process. That way youu can ask them questions.

If you would like to learn to braid usually you can discuss this with your hair stylist for a individual lesson on how to braid. Or you can get ahold of your local cosmetology school and ask if they offer any lessons for specifically braiding only or if they would be willing to offer a individual session.

Braiding hair is quite simple. Personally my all-time favorite in learning was watching other people do it. But if you are not as visual a learner then you can always google it. Google will not only provide you with step by step instructions but also give you images to view as you progress.

You can get a how to video, or look designs up on the internet or from a hair magazine. The best thing to do is practice on real hair.

You can go to cosmotology schools, Well you can go to Craigslist and check on local braiders under the beauty section and ask them if they will be willing to teach you how to braid. I do teach people how to raid, but you will need to be in the Atlanta Ga area.
