I assume you have already checked the internet? Did you try and google wooden q-tips? If that didn't result in much, try antique stores.

You can buy them a lot of places online. Amazon I know sells them online and you can also order them from other online companies. I don't know why they've become so scarce.

You can find wooden q-tips for the ears anymore. There unsafe to use. But there are wooden sticks with cotton swabs on the end that you used to remove particles from a small area. This would be in a hobby store, car accessory store, or medical supply store. Just be careful don't stick them in your ear.
