If you would like a ginger plant you have several options. You can buy one from your local nursery or see if they can order some in for you. Try searching the internet for sellers if you don't have a nursery in your area. You can even grow ginger yourself. The internet can provide you with great growing instructions.

You can order the plants online. But you can buy one in the produce section of the grocery store. Buy one with a few fingers. Buy a plant that is about five inches long. The fingers should be green. Break off the fingers to about two inches long and plant in the spring in a shady spot.
