Where can I find a vet for a mouse?

I would search google or look in your local phonebook for exotic pets vets listings. Most larger suburban areas will have a very who specializes in exotics. You can also call a "normal" vet and ask them for a recommendation.

Call around to your city veteranarian and ask if they have small mammal care available. Most vet dont have this option but you might get lucky and find one with experience.

Almost any good vet can cure the problems of a pet mouse. Most don't require an appointment and can diagnose problems quickly. Some skin growth problems usially indicate cancer so not all vets will be able to save a pet mouse.

If you go to a vet that takes care of small animals then they should also be able to take care of a mouse. There might also be specialized veterinarians that you can look up their offices in your phonebook or online in your city.

You can take your mouse to a regular vet. First, call and check if they can treat mice. If not, they should be able to tell you where to go.

Few veterinarians know anything about mice other than how to dissect them. More of them know that a mouse makes a tasty meal for a gopher snake or a hawk. But if you're really desperate to find a mouse vet, you might try a university that does medical testing or other similar experiments.

I would try calling up any vet in the phone book and ask them if they will take a look at your mouse. If they don't work on mice you could ask them if they know any other Vets that will take a look at your mouse. I would ask about prices too, vets can be expensive!

Check the yellow pages, and call and ask whether a given vet takes small mammals such as mice, rats, etc. If they don't, they might be ale to recommend one.
