Puppies tend to be very energetic. A proven method for calming an excited pup is to increase its exercise. Take walks more frequently and play more often.

Yorkies are known for their high strung temperment. I have one 5 years old and she's still hyper and barks at every noise she hears.

There are things you do that should make your Yorkie puppy calm down. Altering the sex (ie spay or nueter) is the main way. But not always effective.

Good Luck! The Yorkie is a terrior and they die with thier boots on! We have a 12 year old Westie that is still going strong and full of life.
