All dogs should be fed a good quality dog food or a raw or BARF diet. Read labels on food and stay away from corn, gluten, and meat by products. A meat source such as chicken should be the primary ingredient, and other meat sources such as meal should make up at least three of the top five ingredients.

With small breed dogs it's best to give them wet, soft food while they're younger. Dry food should be free range, but keep the chunks small.
