The reason the water is coming out gray might not lay at the source, but in the piping. The piping may have residue build up, causing gray water.

This is probably something in your water lines in your RV. You may want to check to make sure it's not sewage or oil from the engine slipping in. In most cases it is just dirty lines which need to be flushed.

It sounds like something in the system is corroding. Likely it's the RV's water tank, especially if it is an older RV.
