The Suzuki GS 1000 is a really stunning sport bike . It was introduced at the Paris Motorcycle show in the fall of year 1977. They went on sale the following February as year 1978 models. The GS 1000 was Suzuki's first 1000cc motorcycle. And it got a huge ammount of its sale.

From what I have read the first of these bike where offered for sell here in February of 1978. However there may have been a few bike sold in 1977.

the first GS 1000 model arrived in 1978, and was a very high quality, demonstrating Japanese technology. They had a read shock.
