When is the Texas Tax-Free Weekend?

I don't know if it's a set date each year, or if it changes. I think it's right before school starts.

The next tax free weekend for general merchandise purchased in Texas is scheduled for August 19-21, 2011. You can purchase the following with no sales tax: Clothing and footwear under $100, School supplies under $100, Backpacks under $100, suitable for use by elementary and secondary students. You can also layaway these items tax free.

The Texas Tax-Free weekend will occur on August 19-21 of this year. This is the state's annual tax free holiday and it is a great time to make a big purchase you have been holding out on because of the cost!
