There are 6 species of stag beetles only found in Texas as well. Believe it or not there are 58 species of dung beetles found in Texas too.

This would include the beetle family Carabidae and sub species Cinindelinae also called Tiger Beetles like the Long-necked Ground Beetle, Cajun Tiger Beetle, and the Six Spotted Tiger Beetle. Also, the Fiery Searcher Beetle, Blackened False Bombardier Beetle, South Texas Giant Tiger Beetle, Pedunculate Ground Beetle and the Oblong-Punctate Agra Beetle.
