Green anoles & Texas horned lizards are the most common lizards in North Texas. Collared lizard, southern prarie lizard, & the lesser earless lizards are all found in North Texas.
The most famous lizard in Texas would have to be the Horned lizard, it is also in my opinion the most interesting because of the spikes that cover its back. Another lizard is the Lesser Earless Lizard that has 2 distinguishing stripes on its sides.
