The updated manual is due for publication in May 2013. The American Psychiatric Association has a website where proposed changed in content and structure are discussed.
The new edition of the DSM (DSM-V) will be coming out soon, within the next year. Many mental health professionals are anxious to see what new illnesses have been added and what definitions have been changed.
