the best time to do surf fishing is during night or early in the morning when our shadow will not be falling on the water and the fish can easily be trapped.

I have been salt-water fishing for more than 30 years and have fished all times of day, but the best results have always been during the morning hours - or at least before lunch time. I don't know why and it doesn't seem to matter the tide. I've always caught more fish earlier in the day.
