It's actually spelled Crappie. There are two prominent species, the White Crappie, and the Black Crappie. The best way to fish for them is with small minnows on a 1/8 or 1/16 jighead. Vertical jigging and casting are the most common techniques, but trolling also works. They can also be caught with artificial baits, but live baiting is the best.
Id use a bobber then about 6ft of 4-6 (pounds test) line with a small 6,8 or 10 sized hook with wax worms, trout worms, a piece of mini nightcrawler or crickets from petco or something you will knock em dead add a comment
