The implantation usually takes place within the first week of conception of the baby. Most of the time it happens pretty quickly because if it does not then you will miscarry the baby and have your period.

Implantation takes place several days after conception. It usually occurs between days 2 and 5 after conception, in days 15 through 20 in a woman's menstrual cycle. This is when the fertilized egg finds a spot in the uterus and implants, essentially taking root where it will stay until birth or miscarriage.

Implantation takes place five to seven days after ovulation or after the sperm and egg met in the tubes. It is different for every female and every pregnancy.

Implantation takes place between six and twelve days after you ovulate. Most women however are implanted between the eighth and tenth days after ovulation. It's been said the later you become implanted the higher chance you have of an early pregnancy loss. Don't worry, most of the early pregnancy losses happen even before you're aware you're pregnant.
