Brandon Lee was shot and killed on his last movie filmed called "The Crow". Lee was only 28 years old and the deadly accident that killed him occurred in 1993. In preparation for a scene, the gun was filled with blanks, but no one checked the gun for obstructions. During rehearsal, Lee was shot but he never got up.

Brandon Lee died tragically March 31, 1993. He was filming "The Crow" and there was a malfunction with a gun in a scene and Lee was mortally wounded.

A faulty prop gun fired and shot him in the stomach. He died on March 31, 1993 and was buried at Lake View Cemetery. When asked about playing in THE CROW he was quoted as saying "I don't know if I was destined to play this role, but I feel very fortunate to be doing so. "
