What would happen if I put red kool aid streaks with peroxide into my hair and then went swimming in a pool?

This would depend on what color your hair was to begin with, if it were a darker color hair it would probably fade a little and take on a pink tinge. This would also happen if your hair was blonde but the kool aid might have a stronger effect on lighter hair.

The chlorine in the water will interact with the peroxide. Both are bleaching agents and this will lighten the red colour to pink perhaps. The hair will turn a pale reddish or pinkish shade and will become brittle and dry. The hair scalp will be irritated by the bleach too.

Red dye is a very sensitive color, and lots of time at the pool can cause the color to turn an orange color.

if you wait long enough to let it totally set in it should be fine. the peroxide will be alright, the koolaid might come out.
