It's a Honda GL1100.

A strong gas smell typically indicates that your engine is running rich. Remove your spark-plugs to make sure they are not getting flooded. Also inspect them for oil residue.

The motorcycle most likely has a leak in the cooling system. To be positive start off by adding a water remover to the gas tank.
