It's extremely common for a wisdom tooth to be impacted - it is growing sideways and interfering with the growth of your other teeth. Sometimes they could be digging into your jawline causing the pain. I would advise seeing a dental surgeon and getting it removed before infection sets in.

If it hurts, it can be severe. It is highly recommended to visit a dentist as soon as possible before it gets even worse. You may need a root canal or get it pulled.
