An injury to the ear can be hard to see if it occurs inside the ear canal, but it is possible to get acne in this area (which can occasionally rupture and bleed) as well as a ruptured eardrum. A final possibility would be a small hernia - although these are more common on the lower earlobe.

trauma is the most common cause of bleeding. People inadvertently damage their ears with ear-buds or by scratching. Infections and foreign bodies in the ear canal are also possible causes.
