What were the first signs you noticed that suggested you were getting old?

So many signs actually, and as time goes on the list gets longer and longer. When you stop turning heads, or nobody notices you when you enter a room, you know you are getting older.

I noticed that I did not have as much energy as I once did, it was harder to stay up late and the idea of partying all night was a serious joke. I also noticed that I had lines by my eyes and dark circles under my eyes. Getting old is not fun.

I'am female, 48, and have always been athletic. In my late 30's I quit running, even to get accross a street quickly. I will wait now.

I noticed the first sign when I was about 28 -- I had a laugh line on one side of my mouth which I hadn't noticed before. (woman)
