The best sources of vitamin K are green, leafy vegetables. Kale is especially high in vitamin K. Broccoli, romaine lettuce, red lettuce, kelp, and other vegetables with a dark green color are usually very high in vitamin K. Green tea is also high in vitamin K, but since the vitamin is not water soluble, drinking the liquid may not help.

Cabbage is a very good source of vitamin K. If the cabbage is eaten in cole slaw or some other way wherein it is not cooked, the vitamin content will be higher. Another good source is in alfalfa sprouts or you can even take alfalfa capsules as a supplement.

Vitamin K is found in all green leafy vegetables, like kale, endive, lettuce and escarol. But the best vegetable by far is spinach.
