I always make a mixture of flour with salt and pepper first. Make sure it's enough to cover the entire piece of meat. Preheat your oven. Then place the coated meat in the oven until all sides have been seared. The meat is always tasty and juicy; the flour coating seals in the juices and gives it a nice flavor.

Bake at 325F, about 20 minutes per pound. Keep covered until last 15 munutes of cooking. Uncover, raise oven temp. to 475 to brown the outer layer.

Try cooking your roast beef in a slow cooker. Brown it in a pan on the stove in the morning, and put it in your slow cooker with a can of mushroom soup. Cook it all day and it is moist and tender.

For a tasty, tender roast beef try slow cooking it all day. Add beef broth, onions and a little salt and pepper and you will be pleased.

Use a plastic bag. This will ensure that the juices stay locked inside the meat and will also help tenderize your beef.
