Typical Greek recipes call for a lot of olive oil, lemon juice, and mint. Greeks use lemon juice on potatoes, lamb, fish, and many other entrees. Olive oil is substituted for vegetable oil in many traditional dishes. And mint is used frequently in meatballs, spaghetti sauce and other dinner recipes.

You need to use a lot of Mediterranean flavors. These include lots of garlic, lemon juice and rosemary. Many dishes include lamb, pita bread and of course hummus.

It's very much about ingredients. Try using things like olive oil, olives, feta cheese, seafood, and seasonal vegetables. Mediteranean cooking is more focused on flavors. You can even try adding fresh lemon to some of your dishes.

Greek cooking involves olive oil and lots of it. You will probably not use any other oil for your meals. Also greens and lamb are very common in greek meals. also fish is another thing.

Greek cooking can be very healthy and flavorful. Some of the foundation flavors include garlic, olive oil, lemon, and oregano. The Greeks tend to cook a lot of fish and lean meats (lamb and beef), along with grains (rice and pasta) and leafy vegetables.
