The typical size of an A/C unit for a mobile is 10000 BTU, anything more and you would have to run a higher voltage line to the unit.

You would need to go outside to where the condensing unit is. Look around on the unit, near the service access for a nameplate. The nameplate will have a model number, in the model number is the size of the unit. One ton is 12,000, a half ton is 6000. Look for a number that is a multiple of 12.

It depends on the size of the mobil home. Most mobil homes have a standard eight sear half ton unit. Some mobil homes have a simple window unit with five hundred but and two sear rating.

You would need to ask an A/C repair person that. They will be able to tell you what the size is.
