Life is short, and birthdays are nice occasions for people to show that they care. Sometimes we feel uncomfortable about this, but we can look on it as an opportunity to show that we care as well. The sad truth is, parents and children only have so many opportunities to be there for each other's birthdays. Be understanding.

You should let them help you celebrate your birthday in anyway possible! Let them take you out for dinner or throw you a party! It's great to have parents that care about your birthday!

You should talk to them and ask them why they havent been celebrateing your birthday but ask them very nicely. I hope this helps!

1. Be thrilled that they care about you and your birthday. 2. Leave hints or directly talk to the more discrete parent about what you actually want for your birthday.
