How do you get away from abusive parents?

Are they actually awful or is this a fact. I would suggest talking with a counselor at your school for advice on this matter. Just remember all kids think their parents are awful at some time.

Some abusive parents are willing to give up the kids with no fight, sometimes you just need to ask. I would first report any abuse to your local school counselor and local social services. Most often abused children will be removed from the home.

By law you can leave home when you are eighteen. If the person is younger, you can go to the police and they will send the child to a safe haven, until there is an investigation. If you are getting hit, get in touch with the Department of Social Service.

You first need to make a formal report either with a school councilor, social worker or even a police officer.
