Been there. Things that might indicate a more serious head injury are vomiting, one pupil dilated, non-stop crying. A bump is normal as long as it doesn't keep growing.
Check her eyes to see her pupils are the same size for this may indicate concussion. Watch her closely for six hours. Any severe bruising/swelling requires a doctor visit.
Watch for abnormal bruising or swelling. Also look for any odd behavior from your child. If she won't stop crying or won't wake up take her to the ER. Kids get hurt all the time and are ok, but it's always a good thing to make sure that your child is ok.
