I think you should only love yourself, love your country and all its music and cultural values. Then choose a country that you love and go there and live there.

The most important thing, I think is that finding work is not as easy as you may think. Especially in a down economy, you can't assume that you will easily be able to make a living. Plan ahead or work remotely, if possible.

1. If you do this, traveling to your old home country could become difficult. 2. You still owe any unpaid taxes to your home country for years prior to becoming an expat.

Familiarize yourself with the tax laws of your destination. ie. selling a house could involve a gain based on the exchange rate of the two currencies over the hold time.
