What should I know about spacing green mountain boxwoods?

They are great for hedges as they shape nicely. Spacing 2' apart is recommended. Two boxwoods can be placed together in a container and will add to large spaces and entrances. Without shaping these plants they grow into pyramidal forms.

Green mountain boxwoods usually have a pretty large rooting system. They can be planted together, but may require more fertilization as a result. I would be careful not to plant them too close to sidewalks, as the root systems could damage them and give them enough space to grow. They can end up pretty large with the right care.
