Anger is a natural emotion. It can be very dangerous is you repress your anger for too long. It is important to release your anger periodically so that it does not build up inside you and cause emotional damage. Try talking calmly to those who have angered you, whether face-to-face or in a letter.

Whenever you get angry, just try to be calm. If possible, move to a seperate location and sit with your back straight. Then, close your eyes and just concentrate / observe the sounds outside. You should be like this for about 10 minutes. After that you just open your eyes and feel your temper should have gone out.

Releasing built-up anger is healthy as opposed to holding the anger in. Some therapists would encourage clients to find healthy ways to discharge the anger.
