According to the Bible, what commandments are sins of anger and gluttony?

Two of the seven deadly sins - a list created by man based on various bible scriptures. Colossians 3:8 includes anger which is to be gotten rid of. 1 Corinthians 6:10 shows greedy persons are not acceptable to God.

Anything that becomes more important in life than God is a sin. But specifically, within the ten commandments, sins of anger would be murder and other violent acts. Gluttony would probably be under the category of coveting--we are not supposed to want something more than we want to follow God's path for us.

Modern concepts of the seven deadly sins start emerging not earlier than in the 4th century, when the commandments have long been fixed. There is no direct link.

The Commandments and the Sins are two separate things. The commandments were passed down from God to Moses, where the Sins where conceived in Proverbs and a 4th century monk.
