This depends on your age. During the reproductive years, vaginal bleeding following exercise is not uncommon; it may indicate excessive exercise, a cervical polyp, or a high stress level. During and after menopause, this is less likely. If the bleeding is heavy, persistent, or accompanied by other symptoms, your physicians can uncover the cause and prescribe any necessary treatment.

In a lot of women, a moderate level of excercise increases the flow of the menstrual cycle. It is important to note that heavy exercise, especially if it is new to your lifestyle, can completely stop the menstrual cycles of some women. Exercise has also been known to reduce menstrual cramping.

There is nothing really to be concerned about when you are menstruating during your exercise. It may be heavier or it could be lighter. It really depends on your body. If you are concerned then you should talk to your family physician before doing any exercises when you are on your period.

Change lifestyle and use alternative approaches stop drug use and lessen surgery for vaginal bleeding during exercise and go on to the next level only if it is necessary.
