If you're making boutineers with fresh flowers, you should soak them in a preservative for a while before you start. You need wire and possibly florist tape to hold your boutineers together.

Make sure you have fresh flowers or clean silks. Don't make it too big or it wont sit right. Use a very sharp pin to hold in place.
