You will need to talk and discipline your child according to where they stands mentally. You will need to keep them challenged to the best of your ability.

It is not always easy to recognize the gifted abilities of young children. At this age, truly gifted children may be identified by some common characteristics and skills. Young children that are gifted are often early readers, highly energetic, ask "what if" questions, are excellent problem solvers, and have longer attention spans than their peers.

Work on teaching them how to read so that they can read up on subjects that interest them; this is instant enrichment, far cheaper than paying for more activities.
