WISC-IV is the acronym for the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children – 4th Edition. It is comprised of four indexes: Verbal Comprehension, Perceptual Reasoning, Working Memory, and Processing Speed. Children aged 6 to 17 may be tested. A normal score in each area ranges from 102 – 106. Gifted scores exceed 125-130.
