Cats dont actually loose their claws, unless you get them declawed from a vet. They do shed their nails/claws which is natrual and safe.

Cats that are declawed are not able to defend themselves in the wild outdoors. Cats need claws to defend themselves from other cats and to use them to escape by climbing trees. If you have a declawed cat, please keep them indoors at all times.

If you mean shedding claws, nothing. It happens. If you mean getting declawed, your vet will tell you everything you need to know. They will have sensitive paws for the first few days and may need to stay at the vet for a while. Also, they might need be able to use litter at first.
