The eggs are located inside the nest and have not emerged as of yet. The adult hornets will still be close by taking care of the nest and you should use caution when approaching a hornet's nest. After dark, soak the nest with hornet spray. This will kill the embryos inside and any other hornets that come near the nest.

That it should be taken down and/or sprayed. they will hatch and become disruptive. embryonic jsut meanst they are not mature yet, but they will mature and they will breed and create more hornets. take it down and throw it away or spray it with hornet spray and it will kill the embryos
